Getting ready to make final plans and call for ADR's . Would like some opinions.
I have read in various places about the EMH - sometimes it seems that people loved them (esp early morn at MK), but have heard alot of bad (mainly eve EMH). Is it worth getting up early or staying late for, or will we just encounter more crowds then we want to deal with?
We will be going in early Mar, hopefully between the crowds of President's Day and Spring Breaks.
Really getting excited, want to make this as special for my DH and DS as possible - is EMH worth it, or better to just avoid it ?

Morning ones at AK were alright, but we don't really get up too early on vacation. We preferred evening EMH though. EPCOT night one's weren't so great because so little was open that the lines were insane. MK's EMH is a different story because essentially everything stays open, and about half the park empties. We got on all 3 of the mountains one night, and the longest wait was for SM because it was just before everything started. But then we got over to Splash and got right on, and same thing for BTMRR. Night EMH at MK worked for us.

We always go in the summer so parks are heavy any way. I'd say if you have little one MK is a good one to do because of fantasyland you can get most of it done before the crowds. We don,t do them any more because parks get full early. We have are plan hustle early in the am rest about 2:00 and get back around 5:00 when parks thin a little.

We have always done am emh with a lot of success. evening emh is more hit and miss. at ak the shows stop long before the park closes, so essentially dinoland, usa is all that is open. not a huge fan of pm emh yet.

We've done evening EMH in the past and don't like them for our family. Our kids are wiped by 9pm and the crowds don't thin out until much later.

IMHO Disney has added so many rooms that EMH have gotten much more crowded in the last few years.

Was there in Oct (5-20) and EMH were fine especially to get little ones rides as for PM ones in our experience MK was Ok, MGM was awful when we were there they even instituted fast past for night ones, TOT and RNR were very cowded , the night we were there they had 2 fantasmics and the food lines over at that end were the longest I have ever seen, we waited 45 for food, Epoct was crowded in front for Soarin and TT but back was quiet and nice to walk around(it was durn the Wine and Food Festival). Didn't do AK.
