Only at attraction entrances does Disney care. Everyone is welcome to stay and shop and eat.

So they won't let you on a ride, they will tell you to enjoy dining and shopping? Or do they ask you to leave?

No they don't ask you to leave. You just can't do any rides or shows if you aren't staying onsite. It's not like the hard ticket events where they escort non ticket holders to the exit.

You won't be able to enter any attraction queues. Everything else is fine. The CMs do not ask you to leave.

They aren't kicking anyone out who might buy a souvenir or some food. Just no rides. They used to ask for room key cards. I was there during MagicBand testing and they kept just letting us onto rides because we had a band and at that time only testing resorts were getting bands.
