Opinions please! For the week of 5/3-5/8 would you take advantage of EMH and then hop to another park? Or skip them altogether? Also wondering about the extra hours at night. Any input on what days to attend specific parks? Need help!! Trip planned last minute with little time to research and plan.

EMH do afford you the opportunity to experience you favorite rides before the
general population is allow in. Depends upon your priorities and do you have
young children with you? If you are night owls, the extra evening hours offer the same opportunities but without young children in tow. Often those late hours are just to much and cause melt downs, even with afternoon naps.

All of the Morning EMH are good, though AK is probably a bit unnecessary. I think the only EMH that isn't worth it is Hollywood studios in the evening. It's still pretty crowded.

My comments only relate to eve emh as we no longer do morning emh (we are not morning people and our kids are now young adults-we do rope drop).

We love eve emh and I will be at WDW about the same time you are. You will be there for sunday eve emh at MK- you should go. Love the eve emh at MK. Have done it three times now, twice in Feb and once during Easter week. Busy for first half hour to hour then park seems to clear out. Even our 2012 trip Easter week we did so much at MK that night. It is fun to be in the park so late.

I have done emh at HS, it is not bad. Same with being busy first hour but then is better, I plan to do this on my arrival day May 5 which is a Monday. Then I will do eve emh at Epcot on Friday. Epcot eve emh is the one I have had the least success with but will give it a try again.

Our week is not supposed to be very high crowds from what I've seen, ave of 5. I'm not expecting it to be that bad.

We do the EMH in the morning at MK and HS. It gives us time for extra go arounds on our favorite attractions.

We always avoid a.m. EMH, but sometimes use the p.m. simply as extra.

We don't plan any must do's, and just do what is a walk on or has short waits.

I strongly believe in rope drops, and although the hour you get with EMH is great, those parks tend to be busier around and definitely after lunch. So, depending on where we are eating, we usually opt for the extra hour of sleep and spend the days before lunch in a non EMH park.

Basically, whether it is EMH or not, the first two hours are just about the same (walk ons and short waits)...the difference comes at 11 am and later.
