I have printed out the park hours for December and am aware that during EMH mornings the park opens 1 hour early for on site guests. How long does the park stay open for in the evenings when its EMH, I have heard it can be up to three hours?

Every time we've been to the evening EMH it has been 3 hours - seeing Animal Kingdom in the dark was a first for us. Not all of the attractions, or resturants/fast food places are open during EMH, but you can get a list of what is open. We've been staying on-site since 1995 and still not managed to get to the morning EMH

How does it work (emh) in the evening when the parks stay open for extra hours then.Is it just for onsite guest or is it for everyone.How do they know who is staying onsite and who is not!!!!!!!!!!

It is for onsite guests only. For the evening EMH (which can be up till 3am at MK!!!)
they have stations set up at various locations. You have to go there and show your room key, they scan it and then you will get a wristband. This is then checked at the entrance to the attractions and also at other locations.
You can do this from a couple of hours before EMH starts.

Its great except that by night time you are exhausted! We stayed at the Magic Kingdom until about midnight last year and it was still pretty busy and we were just sooo tired we couldnt stay any longer!

But that was also after we'd all frozen on the wishes cruise Jen
