EMH wristbands

How does getting the wristbands for the EMH work. For instance we would like to take advantage of the three extra hours on MK night, but don't want the whole family going. (my Parents are kind enough to want to take the kids and put them to bed, while DH and I do rides!) One problem is that we weren't scheduled to be at MK that night for dinner. Is there anyway to get the wristbands earlier or later than the closing time of MK (7pm that night)? Will they let you in after closing with your ticket and room key? OR would it be possible for my DH to run over to MK (we will be at EPcot for dinner that night) and get TWO wristbands with just him? DO they ask for tickets and room cards? I know we could change our PS but just want to know if we can do it another way.

Thanks for any help with this. :flower1:

Its my understanding that if you are already in MK (or other EMH park), you have to go to City Hall or guest services to get the wristband. If you enter after the start of the EMH hours, you use your regular ticket & they give you the wristband for the rides at entry. So there would be no need to make a special trip to the park earlier in the day just to get the wristbands. Hope this is right, someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

You need both your admission ticket and your resort ID.
Each person getting a wristband also has to be physically there. The CMs actually put the wristbands on the arms. When we went on 1/2, we actually saw some people who were trying to get all the wristbands for their party. They were told to come back with all the members.

I figured you would have to actually be there to get the band. But I am now more interested in knowing if I can get in after the 7pm close time. That would be great if we could arrive at say 7.30 and still get in and get a wristband. Does anyone know if that is actually allowed.

Also, Do we actually get resort keys for each guest when registering. So lets say we want to have DH and DS go but they don't give the kids a resort key, (do they?) so they would just need the one key and two park tickets. Right?

Thanks !

Our kids have always gotten resort keys, just without charging privileges.

Don't know about entering after EMH starts, but I am guessing that would be okay...

Yes, you can get in after the EMH has already started. We did it when they tested it in May

And, yes, each person registered as staying in the room will receive a room key when you check in. Each person will have to show a room key to use the EMH and receive a wristband.

Is the room key for every one in the party a newer thing? Back in October 2003 my DS4 and 2 nieces ages 6 and 7 did not get room keys and we went to EMH in the mornings.

We got four room keys for me, DH, DD11, DD7, the two year didn't receive one.
