EMH - what happened

Can't find the thread but just plugged in my dates 11/21-11/26 and EMH and Early Magic Hours are scarce! Plus only MVMCP on 11/21?? Kind of puzzled why they wouldn't e extending park hours during this time. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can remember being in the MK after 3:am during this time frame??

I feel your pain! I'm there the same time you are, and was sooo looking forward to a really late night MK experience! There is a thread a little further down (HEADS UP... Disney just changed the EMH schedule for July all the way thru Dec...) that discusses this unwelcome change! I wish there was some good news coming our way, but I think we just have to "let is go!" (Sorry to make light of this, as it really is a huge let down to us as well...)

I had the same issue with the hours for our Christmas trip last year. Relax, no worries.

First off, Disney's website's hours are rarely even right. The travel agent calendar is most of the time the most reliable, especially for dates far away.

Disney makes their park hour decisions when dates get closer. When you are about a month away from your dates, the times will likely change. For us MK was closing at like 9 or 10pm every night. When the dates got here, it had changed to midnight or later every night plus EMH. There will likely be more EMH nights/mornings as well. Not a guarantee, but I'd say it's likely they'll change.

There are never Christmas parties during Thanksgiving week. We usually fly in the Saturday before Thanksgiving and miss them but this year we are coming in on Friday just to go to the party.
