I posted this msg below in the EMH scam thread but wasn't sure it was being seen so I moved it up here.

I've been wondering about EMH. Historically when it was 1hr in the morning our family always avoided the EE park. Now that evenings were offered I was thinking hey, this might be a good idea. We could do another park during the day and hop over to the evening one after a rest in the late afternoon. Then I saw the thread below talking about the possible scam and I'm thinking there will be more crowds than ever.

I was especially considering late night at MGM. My thought being we could see Fantasmic and then get to ride a couple of rides instead of standing w/ the mobs at the buses. But now it sounds like these evenings are just PACKED w/ people. Is there anyone out there (Especially those w/ younger children...ours are 6 & 3) who felt Evening hrs were worth it for your family???? As I say, we're considering 1 evening at MGM (not too late) and possibly one at MK.

How do these EMH compare to special ticket events like the MNSSHP or Christmas party? I've thought those were very crowded too and more for the entertainment than short line rides.

Thanks in advance!! Looking forward to your input!

I can only speak to the crowds at AK and at Epcot this past week during EMHs. On both of these, I would characterize the crowds as light. The longest wait for Dinosaur was 10 minutes, for Whirl was 10 minutes. On Epcot, we actually got to stay on Test Track 4X in a row--of course this was at 11:30, so it was late night.

thanks for your reply. Nice to hear it was a success for you at those two parks. I was hoping more people would have feedback on how EMH has been working in the evenings.

I think the new EMH is definitely worth it! Think of everything you can get done once those who aren't resort guests leave the park. Like the E ticket nights, only free and offered in every park. Not only that, the evening EMH's have so many more attractions open, too so you won't have all of those guests trying to go on the exact same 4 attractions! Can't wait to stay onsite to take advantage of it.

MS OJO- Check the other thread, I posted over there

Last week, we did MK and Epcot late night. We found that the hour or so right after it closes, it was semi-busy. Especially right after Wishes was there a rush at Space Mountain, Buzz. But after that went through, it slowed down. We went on BTMR 3 times in a row, with no wait (couldn't stay on, but it was okay.) It is definetly worth it to try to go! We had a blast!
