What do you do? We are staying at DLH (I may mention this one or two or a thousand more times over the coming months!) so not too far to go back and have breakfast and wondering which is best. We could have the earliest breakfast (which I believe is 0730?) but then wouldn't get to EMH until after it started, probably around 0830. Or we could do EMH as soon as it starts and then get back to the DLH for the latest breakfast (not sure when that would be - 0930? 1000?) It might be annoying to be in the park and then have to go back or it might be a good chance for a rest after a busy dash around EMH. Then again, if you go for the latest breakfast, is half the stuff gone by then?!

What do people here do?

Breakfast at DLH is 7.30-11.00 so you would loads of time to go and eat after you've done the EMH :)

11am?! Wow, that sounds perfect, then! In that case I think I'll give the kids a quick snack in the morning and go straight to EMH and do breakfast later. Thanks, Carrie!

We stayed two nights at the DLH last year. The first morning we did EMH first and went to breakfast around 10am. By then we'd got quite a good appetite and it was nice to have a break. Everything was still in plentiful supply. Breakfast is served until 11am so maybe if you turned up at say 10:45am you may find things stopped being replenished but at 10am everything was in plentiful supply.

The next morning we decided against EMH as it was raining and went to breakfast around 8:30am. It was still very enjoyable but much busier/noisier and we had to wait at the podium for about 5-10 minutes for a table - not a problem but going later the day before was a walk-in and a much more relaxed experience.

Enjoy your stay there - we loved it.

Thanks for that info, Elaine. Do you have to pre-book your breakfast slots like you do at the cheaper hotels?

no you don't get timeslots at the DLH. I had a similar experience to Elaine when we last had breakfast at the DLH, we went in at 10am, it was lovely, there were only about a dozen tables in use and the food was still hot and plentiful and being replenished. The characters were still outside the entrance to the restaurant when we went in, and when we came out at around 10.45 :).

Wow, no breakfast timeslots - now I really know we're moving up :)

We are staying there too, later this week and are going to try the breakfast both ways. We like to go to the studios for opening some mornings for parachutes/crush so breakfast after EMH doesn't really work on the those mornings. :goodvibes
