EMH reduced in August?

Am I imagining things, or in August is there not as many EMH as there used to be?

I was under the impression that one park was open early each day and another stayed open late each day of the week on our first trip.

Looking at the EMH for our August trip for FD there is hardly any night time EMH hours, certainly one park each day.

Is this my imagination, or have they really reduced them? :confused3

More and more schools start back early. Disney used to be crammed until after labor day. It is changing now. ONe reason. State mandated high stakes testing is usually at the end of April or the first of May.

So they have cut them back because of this?

The second half of August just isn't very crowded. No need for Disney to offer much EMH.

It has been quite a few years since one park opened early every day and one stayed open late every day.

Except for the very busiest times like Christmas and Easter, it has been common for each park to have AM EMH once a week and each park other than DAK to have PM EMH once a week.
