EMH Question

On the Disney website it says for evening EMH the park could be open for "up to" 3 hours after regular park closing. So, how does this affect Wishes, Illuminations and Fantasmic? Will they occur at regular park closing AND at EMH closing? Or just at the regular park closing? And how do you know exactly how late the park with EMH will stay open? It doesn't say that anywhere on the website... sneaky b*stards! And how do they know if you are a resort guest or not once you are there? Do they really boot non-resort guests from the parks, and if so, how?

I am not positive on this, but I heard that the EMH hours usually are not immediately after park closing, but will occur later in the night. For example, if a park closes at 9pm, the EMH might start at 10pm and go until 1am.

I don't know where to find the specifics, but would like to know this myself.

1. It's always 3 hours. They just write up to 3 hours just in case they do have to close EMH early (hurricanes and what not).

2. All fireworks shows are done at regular park closing time. EMH usually starts after park closing time.

3. Starting 2 hours before EMH, you can get a wristband by showing your resort ID. Each person in your group needs a resort ID in order to get a wristband.

4. After official park closing time, anyone without a wristband can walk around, shop etc but cannot go on the rides. If you want to go on a ride you must show your wristband.

5. Just check the times for each park and add 3 hours on top of that for evening EMH times. Epcot's EMH starts at 9pm after Illuminations, not at 7pm.
