EMH Question

Has anyone experienced the EMH yet. We are going next week and will not arrive until 2:00 on Wednesday. We were thinking about going to MK and experiencing the Extra Magic Hours, but if it is totally packed I am afraid the kids will be tired from the trip and will not enjoy it as much. Will this crowd be a lot more crowded than the other parks because of the EMH? I thought that maybe it would be wiser to go to the Animal Kingdom or MGM. Any thoughts would help. We will be in the MK the next morning for CRT and we could spend the whole day there. All thoughts would be appreciated.

This topic comes up very often. You might want to do a search and read some of the responses. I'll try to sum them up in general, though...

Most sources say that the best day to visit a given park is the day AFTER it has had EM Hours. They also say that, if you are staying onsite, it is good to go the early EMH park at opening until about 1 p.m. and then head to a different park. Only possible if you have the hopping option, of course.

I have also heard many people suggest going to the evening EMH park only during the actual EMH hours. Disney doesn't make people leave the park, but only resort guests that get a special wristband can experience the rides and attractions.
