EMH question

We are staying on-site and want to take advantage of the EMH's available as much as we can. My question is, We want to have dinner outside of the parks at a couple of different resorts such as Whispering Canyon and Ohana's. Can we leave the park for dinner and come back for the EMH after the original closing time? This could change my strategy for ADR's.

Yes, you can. Just make sure that if you plan on visiting an EMH park other than the original park that you visited that day, that you have Park Hopper passes.

When we took advantage of evening EMH in September we got special wristbands to show we were eligible. They set-up several locations throughout the park where you can go and have your key to the world scanned and then they give you a wristband.

I beleive you can start obtaining these wristband two hours before the EMH begins and then they continue for two hours into the EMH. Some other DISer can correct me if I'm wrong on these details.
