1. EMH question:

Just wondering for anyone that has already been and experienced these especially people that went during the busiest days of summer for example...

did EMH prove pretty invaluable or are the parks just as busy wtith onsite guests - what rides were open throughout the parks as I understand it's limited....?

Also are the studios included or is it the main park only?

2. For those who have been would you rather a Lucky Nugget Saloon meet and greet or the Plaza Gardens Tea Party....? and why...

questions questions and choices choices...!

many thanks in advance

kxx

The Studios are not included in EMH :)

As the menu offering of mainly sweet things does not appeal my money would be on Lucky Nugget Saloon. We had a great time at Lucky Nugget in the summer :goodvibes

We had EMH at Easter and also in Summer- both very busy times and both am EMH. They were invaluable. At Easter we did find it was still quite busy during EMH but in Summer it didnt seem to get busy til about 9.00 ish.

We tried to get in for 8.00 and in the first hour had done Peter Pan x4, Dumbo x2, Teacups, Carrousel x2, Pinochio x2, Buzz x2 and Orbitron.

It also put you in a good place to be first onto POC when it opened at ropedrop (queue at the rope by Peter Pan entrance into Adventureland) or other fantasyland/Discoveryland rides

Rides open during am were:

Peterpan
Pinnochio (or sometimes Snow White instead)
Tea cups
Dumbo
Carrousel
Orbitron
Buzz
Space Mountain
Castle

There seemed to be quite a few people heading into the park at 8.00 but they all seemed to disappear n(I think to have GMF)

In summer we hadnt booked breakfast as we were staying at Holiday Inn so went on loads of rides then went for brekkie at Cable Car shop then got on more rides or in line for rope drop.

At Easter we had late GMF brekkie at 9.15 which meant we got loads of rides in first.

To answer your 2nd question we havent done Lucky Nugget but did Tea party and thoroughly enjoyed it and would def do this again. In some ways its nice to have a complete break at lunch time by having nice table service meal, enjoy the food and not have to be looking out for characters whereas the tea party was different in a way.

Can't help with the EMH, haven't tried it myself yet !

I'd opt for Lucky Nugget over Plaza Gardens. As mentioned the food menu alone is far superior but I found the Character Interaction better too. We were seated up in the "stalls" but all the characters come to visit and there weren't anyone else's kids chasing after them. :)

Think we're going to have to try Lucky Nugget. Dont think we'll be able to fit it in at Christmas though so it will have to wait til Easter or next Summer

we went to lucky nugget in late july (2006)when the parks where very busy ,loved it loads of choices of food lots of charactor interaction ,we boked for 7pm and it was busy but not packed ,only problem was it was sooo hot that we didn,t eat all that much although i managed to stufff down some wafffles with choc sauce:cloud9: ,oh and the service was great:) Not tried plaza gardens but could be a good choice if its hot and you dont want a huge meal and have a sweet tooth like me mmmm may book that for next july

We ate at both last week and loved Lucky nugget:) The food was good. We had french onion soup, chicken enchilladas, prawn rice, chilli, sides of chips and lovely salads, there was a freezer full of icelollies and the desserts section was fab we had all of them between us. My fav was the rasberry ice cream cake YUM!! The characters came to see everyone and kids stayed in their seats. There was also a dixie band playing on the stage.

The tea party at Plaza gardens was the opposite the characters were mobbed by kids and adults alike and the place was packed. Just not my cup of tea although the food was very good for the price. Although there was a bunfight to get it.

I've not been to Plaza Gardens for the character tea, only the evening buffet without characters, but I've been to the Lucky Nugget three times now and (apart from a miserable server the first time) we love it there. We had a great time there on Friday with loads of characters. Apart from one little girl who kept following Mickey round and pestering him, everyone else waited until the characters got to their tables. Mickey did keep telling her to go back to her seat but she looked so sweet in her little pink Minnie dress it was hard for anyone to get cross with her!! :rotfl:

I'd like to try the Plaza Gardens tea one time but I'm sure you'll love the Lucky Nugget.
