EMH or no? Trying to decide what to do

Going to Disney from March 10-18. I get to make FPs next Monday and for the most part I have it all figured out. It's just the last 2 days I keep switching.

Fri 3/10: Arrival day, no parks, dinner at Sanaa
Sat 3/11: MK
Sun 3/12: AK
Mon 3/13: HS
Tues 3/14: Off day, breakfast at Ohana
Wed 3/15: Epcot
Thurs 3/16: Epcot/MK
Fri 3/17: MK/Epcot

The last 2 days have morning EMH. Epcot on the 16th, MK on the 17th. Originally I was going to avoid them since we only have base tickets, so no hopping. Then I thought about it more and it may not be a bad idea to take advantage of it. We can get there for RD and get stuff done early. The second day at Epcot is mostly going to be for F&G, do some rides in the morning before WS opens. I was planning on these days being more laid back and just revisiting some favorites. I could go either way on this, just trying to get it all figured out before my FP day opens.

Morning EMH is usually very fruitful as less show up for that than normal rope drop and you get an extra hour until the normal 10am+ crowd begins to enter.. However it is also a long day so making it to night entertainment might be a challenge for some but a well places rest in the afternoon can help that.

You really don't know what your going to find crowd wise until it's happening. I've been on trips where mornings were swamped but afternoons were completely empty even though usually the opposite is true. I"ve been to emh where it's bigger than the day crowd but again I've seen it be the dead time of the day and wonderful.

Plan what works wake up/showering for your family and have a great time.. It's either going to be really crowded or very crowded no matter what you choose.. go in with the attitude that it's really crowded and it'll make the day more fun when it's just very crowded.

If onsite, do EMH if you are morning people. For us, we are at the gates by 7:15 those mornings.

We have done both. Used early EMH for the first part of trip and then used RD the rest. For Epcot unless there's something you really wanted to ride I'd just use your fps and enjoy WS. MK is nice for EMH you can ride a decent amount in that first hour.
