EMH on Check Out Day?

My sister and I are weighing the prices for Disney on November 6-8. Right now, We'd like to do the F&W Festival on November 6th, check out on November 7th and spend the day at Magic Kingdom.

We've thrown around the idea of a 2-night trip (6th and 7th) and drive back to Tampa on Sunday morning. To cut costs, we may stay offsite at the Best Western on Saturday night.

My question - if we have a park ticket for Saturday, November 7th and we check out, will we still get nighttime EMH or are we then considered "off-site guests"?

You'll still be able to enjoy the evening EMH. Your onsite guest designation is good through park closing.

You're considered a Disney resort guest for your entire check-out day. So, yes, you can use the EMH perk on check-out day. But, (IMO) I would bite the bullet and stay at the Disney resort for both nights. Otherwise you will lose a lot of park time while checking out from Disney and checking into the off-site resort on Saturday. Time is very valuable when your time is short. Have fun!

I figured the resort would be good just to have if we didn't feel like driving home that day - which if we stay late that night, we won't!
