EMH Morning question

We've been to Disney and taken advantage of EMH in the evening, but not in the morning. When we went in the evening, quite frankly one time they barely glanced at room card.

Is that how it works in the morning too - do you need to show your room card - do they scan them or just look at them?

Just make sure you have your key, we were asked twice, once at the monorail and at the main gate.

We had the opposite. We were never asked to see our room key in the morning, but after attending EMH at MK and EPCOT this weekend, we had to go to a location, have our key scanned by a handheld scanner before we were given a wristband. The wristbands were checked at every ride.

We've had them check the room IDs of everyone in our group, plus turn people away from the gate when they did not have the room ID. One man had put his ticket in the reader and was walking thru the turnstile when the CM asked to see his room ID. He said he didn't have one and she showed him the gate. There were others in his party that did not get in either.

When we were there in October, for the evening EMH's, as stated above you needed to go to a particular part of the park to get wristbands. If you do not have a room key you will not get a wristband.

There were people walking around without wristbands and I asked about that. They said that if you are already in the park they will not ask you to leave. However, you will not get a wristband and without a wristband you will not get on any rides or see any of the attractions. This we were a witness to. They definately asked to see wristbands at everything we went to and turned away people without them.

I am glad to hear they are being more strict on this. It kind of takes away the advantage of staying on site, if they don't make the rules stick!

They have never in the past 4 visits ever asked to see our room keys, and I have to say the park was very crowded. I am glad they are finally cracking down, I was planning to avoid the EMH parks because it seemed too full, maybe we will try it now
