EMH in the evening questions

Say AK closes to the public at 6 but stays open for EMH (until 9), what is the latest you can go and get a wristband. Can you get there at 6? Also I will have my room key showing that I am staying onsite but I usually don't bring my driver's license. Do they check for picture ID, also what about children, ds is 13 but does not have a photo id. If you have attended the evening emh, are they better than the mornings. I used to do the mornings but hated getting up so early.

You can pick up a wristband up until about 8:30pm (a half-hour before EMH is over).

The only time you might need an ID of some sort is if the biometrics (finger thingy) doesn't work -- then they will ask to see ID to verify that you are the person who's name is on the pass. Your kids will not need ID -- if you point to the kids and say, "These are my kids", Disney will believe you.

I went to EMH night at Epcot on Tuesday and they were asking for photo ID's. BIL didn't have his and he still was given a wristband, but CM said it was a new policy they were trying out so they may be stricter in enforcing it in the future.

We've started to ALWAYS carry our drivers licenses with us into the parks. They sometimes check it if the finger scan machines are on the fritz.....
I have NO problem with anyone ever asking to see my ID, in fact I would prefer that they do so.
Children are always exempt from having to prove their identity so no need to worry about them having to show ID's.

We LOVED the evening hours. Had the same problem as you in that we hated getting up so early for the morning hours...so the night ones worked out great for us.
