EMH in December?

I know that the hours for Dec won't be released until Sept or Oct, but does anyone know if they will have EMH (evening) in Dec? I know that the parks close early this time of year (1st week in Dec), and didn't know if they have the EMH's or if they just skip it since it is supposed to be a "slow" time.

Any help or suggestions is GREATLY appreciated!!!

They'd better! I was under the impression that unlike the E-nights, EMH were a somewhat permanent change (that is, until TPTB decide to "permanently" discontinue them). I'm already planning on being in AK for EMH in December. It gets dark early then, so if the park is open for 3 extra hours, it'll be dark. I can't wait to see AK after dark-it'll be a whole new perspective. So I don't even want to consider them not having EMHs.

I had a similar question. My question was: Are they going to have EMH (evening) during the weeks of MVMCP at MK since they are already going to be open late 4 days of the week????

I would assume they will unless they change their thinking on EMH. They've had EMH every month since January, even in peak seasons when parks were open late.

I hope so!! I'm especially planning on it for MK (one day when MVMCP is not going on).

Last December we went 12-4-04 - 12-10-04. They did have the early morning hours at the parks. Different park for a day. They did not do the evening one. But really that is ok. If you can, goto MMVMCP. You will not regret it. You can't. Why not be at MK at midnight. Plus going twice you can see the shows one night and ride the rides the next. There are a lot of shows to see. You get free cookies and hot coco. Also, the best time to get your free pic is towards the middle and the end of the night. Most will get theres when they first get there. Also, remember for each MMVMCP night they have a release of limited edition pins for that party. So there will be a line at Mickey Star Traders and others. You just have to know where to go. There is a Christmas shop by LTT that sells the pins as well.

Yes the parks close early.. AK closes at like 5...MGM closes at like 8. Remember they had the Osborne lights. That is something that cannot miss. Epcot closed normally. Nothing like seeing the different santas from the different countries.

But at MK, they will close at 6, unless you have tickets for the party which you can get in with just your party tickets @ 4:00. Get your wrist band and have a great time.

But whatever you do, do not miss resort hopping. The decorations are awsome. We were very lucky to have been able to stay @ WL. Plus if you go in early December, the resorts are usually cheaper due to value season. I mean who would not want to stay at WL for $119.00 a night?

Now I have to stop talking about December or the magic of going for Halloween will not seem as fun.

No they don't have them at 6:00, just at 9:15 during the party.

I would expect them to have EMH night at MK on Wednesday or possibly Monday. Saturday already stays open late. Rest of the nights are MVMCP.

Last year Epcot stayed open until 9:30 (later closing to accomodate Candlelight Processional) and MGM until 8:00. AK was 5:00 I think.
