EMH Evenings-"Up To Three Hours"

I noticed that the EMH evening hours are always described as "up to three hours" after park closing.Does this mean sometimes they shorten EMH evenings?If so,how do you know when it will be three hours and when it will not?Thanks.

I would like to know the answer to this as well. When the Disney website says for instance that Magic Kingdom is open until 11pm and that night is an EMH night, is 11pm the actual closing time or will the park close "up to 3 hours later"?

The EMH closing time is three hours after the posted time, so when the site says MK closes at 11, it closes for EMH at 2am. So far, it has always been three hours at night.

Evening EMH for all three hours is not guaranteed.

Ask at Guest Relations outside the turnstiles, before you go in. Have your room key ready to show.

(If you went in first and asked at Guest Relations inside the park, the question is moot.)

At published closing time (for day guests) announcements are made thanking guests for visiting. There is no urge for guests in the stores to hurry up and get out. After that time, guests without room keys are not supposed to be admitted through the turnstiles and guests without wrist bands are not supposed to be allowed to get in line for rides although guests already in line will be allowed to ride.

For the emh in the evening, how do you get a wrist band?

EMH park for that evening.

There are many areas in the park that offer the wristbands including at the front gates. You need to show them your room key. I think the event page for that park will have the distribution areas listed or you can just ask a CM.
