EMH Evening Hours

I agree that it was extremely crowded and they had run out of fastpasses for all of the big attractions. The only exception I found was MGM - we were practically alone there on EMH.

We also found that the wait times for Mission Space were no where near as long as test track. I wonder if it is because people are afraid of getting sick in Mission Space. I know I won't do it.

We did EMH last Wed night for MK. The first hour was crowded. For example... the line for HM was about 30 min. An hour later it was almost a walk on. We got more done in 2 hours than we did in 4 the previous Sunday (we bailed out of MK by 1pm).

AK evening EMH was the most worthwhile. We covered most of the park staring around 3:30 pm, and we did the Lion King show during a good part of the EMH (maybe not the ideal choice of EMH attractions)

MK EMH was by far the most crowded.

Can I take my whole families park tickets and room key cards to get the bracelets myself…or do they need to get in line with me?

Thanks

They need to be with you because the bracelets need to be fastened by the CM.

As far as the fastpasses - they are available but they have usually run out by the time EMH starts. If the ride hasn't given out all of their fastpasses for the day (up to the end of EMH) you can still get one.

Remember that anyone who is in line when the park closes, whether a resort guest or not, gets to ride. So if Space Mountain has a 60 minute line at park closing, those people are still going to be there for a long time. I think that to benefit from EMH, as far as shorter wait times, you will have to stay past at least the first hour.

Even so, I remember in late 2001 and 2002 everyone complaining about the short hours at WDW and wanting the parks to be open later. At least evening EMH gives you more time in the park, even if it's not all walk-ons. If you're staying on-site, your park ticket gets you significantly more time in the park than if you're not. There's value in that, and I'm glad they're doing it.

I went to MGM's EMH on Sunday night, it was 9 to 12. There were fastpasses at ToT, about 10:20-11:20 at around 9:30. People were still coming in at about 10:20 when I left, so you can get in after it starts.
