EMH days the last week of August

My DS7 and I will be going to WDW for his bday the last week of August. I have always avoided the respective parks on their EMH days because I had heard crowds were usually heavier.This trip we are staying on site (finally!) and can take advantage of EMH. Do you think the parks will be overly crowded on their EMH days, especially at the end of August, which I believe is generally a slower time because a lot of kids are back in school?

Late August crowds are indeed the lightest of the summer. Evening EMH are always much more crowded than morning EMH.

I think the crowds might be heavier than expected due to the Free dining plan that Disney is offering. The park hours adjust to crowd levels, so if the parks close early, then it is safe to guess that the crowds are on the lighter side.

I hope that you got in on the free dining plan. It is too good to pass up!
