I am staying onsite for the first time in like 25 yrs.. Have never been able to use EMH. I have made a point like most off siters to AVOID those days. Getting excited about it now, especially the extra night hours. Those hours that it is just those staying at the resorts, is it a big difference with low crowds? I will be there end of Oct.. We usually do Crystal Palace once a trip at 8 am and I LOVE having the parks so empty for awhile. I do not expect it to be like that but is it a very noticeable difference?:)

I can't say much about opening EMH, but I worked many a closing shift at the Magic Kingdom, and this is what I observed.

Typically during PM EMH, the first hour and a half is pretty busy, and then the crowds begin to thin out. PM EMH is three hours after regular park close, and I can't remember how late that was at that time of the month, but the later into the AM hours they go, the less crowded they tend to be. Have fun!
