EMH days? Can you give me your opinion?

We've always avoided parks with EMH. This year, I'm thinking about trying them out but I'm so used to avoiding them that I almost can't bring myself to do it.

Which plan would you prefer and why?

Option A:
Wednesday, Dec 20th--RD at Epcot, park hours 9am to 9:30pm
Thursday, Dec 21st-----RD at MK, park hours 9am to 6pm (party that night but you don't attend)

or

Option B:
Wednesday, Dec 20th--RD at MK, park hours 9am to 9:30pm (stay for EMH until 11:00pm)
Thursday, Dec 21st-----RD at EP, park hours 9am to 9:30pm (arrive for EMH 8:00am)

We always get park hoppers, so we start at the EMH park, but leave when it gets busy. It works well for us, but I don't know how it would work if you stayed in the EMH park all day. I've heard they get quite busy.

I am a big fan of EMH, but I don't usually stay at one park for a whole day either. However, those park hours will very likely change as it gets closer to December, which may throw your whole plan off anyway! MK could open at 8 instead of 9, for instance, and the closing times could be extended.

We've found EMH to be really useful. If you're worried about extra crowds midday, you can always park hop, but I haven't found that necessary.

I would be more concerned about the excess crowds inherent in attending MK on a non-party day during party season than about the effect of EMH.

I only do EMH if I can park hop. If you aren't hopping I would do option A.

I'm a fan of EMH for AK and DHS, Epcot depends on what other plans we have that morning. I don't like morning EMH at MK but only because we prefer PPO breakfasts there.
