EMH busy?

Ok, I'm planning my entire trip around EMH. Now
I have heard that EMH has been very busy, any
thoughts from people that have been there
recently? Am I better off going to the non-EMH
resorts early in the morning?

Second question, should I buy a Pal Mickey for
my 4 year old? Will he enjoy it?

This subject seems to be on a few threads - but I have the same question as dpuck1998. I just finished my itinerary for our August trip and EE (or EMH) was central to the plans - now I'm wondering if I should rethink the whole concept.

Maybe we'll get a better idea of this from people who visit in July (when FTP kicks in). I haven't been to WDW in five years. We always go in summer and it is always crowded. I've heard the crowds the last few years have declined - so maybe things are just back to what I would consider the norm.

Anyway - any thoughts on EE with increased crowds? If people think we should avoid them, the guidebooks and sites like TourGuideMike will need to be revised.

My thougts exactly, I'm using Tour Guide Mike a lot
and he really pushes the EMH. If it is going to be
packed and the other parks easier than my planning
will take a serious turn and lots of PS to change.

Len Testa - any thoughts?

I guess if off-site guests know to avoid EMH parks, then a resort guest doing the same just adds to the crowd there. So maybe the best idea is to not over-think this or try to out-guess the crowds. I'm inclined to think it's best to continue to use the EMH strategy.

My biggest worry is that with the FTP is that all the resorts are at full capacity. Seems like most of the people at the parks will be staying on-site. Of course who know what "really" will happen, I guess we will just have to wait to hear some reports.
