EMH at Epcot - how much time?

Hi everyone, the day we plan to visit Epcot there is EMH, an 8:00am opening. We hope to get there for rope drop. Our plan is to head straight to Test Track, then to Soarin'. Time wise, what time do you think we'd be done with both? Are we going to be looking at terribly long lines? I was hoping we'd be done with both by 9:15 or so. Is that realistic. We are hoping to do FEA as our tier 1 fast pass, and hitting the other two big attractions first thing!

Thanks!

Well, it depends on what you mean by "get there for rope drop." If you mean showing up a few minutes before 8:00, you would probably be done by about 9:15. If you show up around 7:15, yoully be done much quicker.

So if we rope drop and get there at 740 (8am opening), and we attempt to go to TT then soarin’, is it feasible to make 930am FP for spaceship earth and 1030ish FP for Mission Space?

Yeah. That should be easy enough

I wouldn't expect you to have much trouble. I would consider doing soaring first as that often builds a bigger line faster. But either way, you should be fine. If you do TT, then soaring, you may even hae time to do LWTL before Spaceship Earth. We usually do soaring, LWTL, then Spaceship Earth at RD without FPs and get through easily.

Interesting to do Soarin' first.... I feel like I have read a lot about doing TT first, then Soarin'.

Do most agree, should we do Soarin' first, then TT?

My experience at RP is it seems the largest crowd is headed to soaring. I see some headed toward TT, but not as many.

That used to be the case, but since the built the additional theater at soarin', it's generally considered best to do test track first.

I think more people head toward soarin' at rope drop, but it can handle way more people than test track, too.

We rope dropped TT in January, and by the time we got off the ride (we were one of the first on the ride) the line was already 45 minutes. This wasn't during EMH though. Can't speak for Soarin' because we've never attempted to rope drop it. I may actually run to Soarin' first, just because the line is awful, just standing in a blank hallway. At least the line at TT is a little cooler.

Sounds like it doesn't make a lot of difference if you do Soarin or TT at RD. It seems the other one will have a long line by the time you are done. When we have gotten off Soarin at RD, the line is often beyond 45 minutes and sounds like TT is similar.

OK, so if we do EMH in the morning (8:00) and go to TT first, do you think we'd be on Soarin' by 9am or sooner? Just curious about how long we should expect to wait?
