EMH at Animal Kingdom question? Need Help.

Ok we are in the final detail planning for WDW. I have read a lot about EMH at MK but has anyone used the EMH in the evenings at AK? Did you like them? Did you notice if during the Safari if there were more animals out when the heat of the day wore off? Any help would be appreciated.

At AK on our recent trip 7pm until 10pm.Last Safari was at 7:15 and close walking trails at 7:30.We did't stay full 3 hours and had already done the attractions earlier.We could walk on attractions and did a couple over again.Still we got bored and bail to MK around 8:30 to see Wishes.and late Spectro parade.

I would think that at 7:15pm (at least at this time of the year) there would be lots of animals out. It starts to cool down about this time and that might make the animals come out. We did the Early Magic Hours and had great luck with seeing lots of animals.

We did EMH last week and really enjoyed it. We ate dinner at Rainforest Cafe (5pm PS) and went on into AK. Did the safari, which we really enjoyed more than the daytime version. Our driver creeped along so we were able to see a lot more . Seems like it lasted twice as long.... The park was not crowed at all, and a CM told me that AK is the least crowded park for evening EMH. Have a great time!!!

We were at WDW the week of May 14-20, and found that this was true. We walked on everything that we wanted to do during AK evening EMH.

DS13 & I are planning on AKs EMH nights both wks we're there in August
(unless we decide to attend the DVC member block party if its during that time)
