EMH and Morning Opening SHow

Does anyone know when they do the opening "show" at a park if it is EMH day? For instance, if MGM opens an hour early, do they do the little park opening with the characters at 8 am and then again at 9 am for off property guests? Just at 8 am? Just at 9 am?
