EMH and late stay for fireworks

How do you do MK with the EMH and fitting in the Spectro parade and fireworks, we are gong in April so Spectro is at 9 and fireworks are at 10, it's so late, Ihave a 7 year old who can't possibly do the park early and late, how do you plan it so you can do both?

You can go back to the hotel for an afternoon relax/nap .. I know some do that, get lunch etc and head back to the resort for a few hours to relax.
