Cross-post. So today Disney changed their EMHs for the dates we will be there and the day we planned to be at HS with low attendance now has EMHs in the morning (we are staying offsite so not eligible). I'm pretty frustrated because now it is going to be a busy park day. I don't want to change our park day since I have a character meal scheduled there and already have our fast passes. However, I do have a question. We had planned to get there first thing to sign my boys up for Jedi training. However, now the resort guests will have been there for an hour already. Do we have any chance at getting them signed up? Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it getting that much busier because of Morning EMH. According to TP they don't usually affect attendance as much as evening EMH. We have one MK day that has evening EMH because that is really what worked best for us. If you're already planning to RD, I'd keep my plans.

With regards to JTA there are reports that they are letting people in early for sign ups anyway so maybe you can still get into the park for that.

I don't think you need to worry about getting signed up an hr. later. We were there the week before Christmas on an early opening Saturday, and didn't get to the park till about 11:00( we had just flown in that morning) and DD was considering signing up to do it again since it was her last chance at age 12. We went right over to check if times were left, and they still had a few shows available at the end of the night, so you should be fine. Also, if it is a low attendance day, as PP mentioned, a.m. EMH shouldn't be that impactful. TSMM will probably already be busy however, which would be my normal 1st stop. If they let you sign up early, I would head there 1st and see how long the wait has gotten or hopefully you can have a FP for it later.

Thank you! I already snagged fast passes for TSMM so we will just head to Jedi Training sign ups right away and hope we can still get a couple spots!

We too made plans for DHS on 4/19, before the addition of the am EMH, which has now rendered our FP's basically useless. When I optimized our touring plans for the day after adding the EMH, I can only use one of our FP, and can't change the times of my others...
Has anyone had experience touring DHS during EMH? We have 2 and 4 year old boys and JTA, TSMM and ST are our priorities for the day, with the Disney Jr. Show, the next priority. Will we realistically be able to sign up for JTA and ride TSMM during the EMH? Or should we go ahead and do another attraction that we weren't planning on doing anyway during the EMH and then just use our FP's which begin a 9:15 and 10:15?

That's what I would do if I was able to get in during EMH! You may even be able to ride TSMM once without a FP and then again later with. Wish I could have you sign my boys up for Jedi Training lol!

Just move your FP to the times you have them scheduled then use Evaluate NOT Optimize. Move things around one by one based on the results to force the TP to include your FP. Optimize is only affective as your jumping off point after you have scheduled your FP.

I figured this out yesterday when I was working on my plan. Evaluate works so much better. Optimize messes everything up.

This is the single most asked question about TP. @lentesta - the owner is on another thread regarding this and I just made a suggestion that hopefully they can use to make the whole thing more user friendly and solve this issue.

Thanks everyone. I think I finally have a workable plan, using 2 of my 3 fast passes. Most likely I will just let the 3rd expire and then try for a 4th for the evening because I can't get a time that works for it, and can't find another to exchange for it.
