Emeril's or Tchoup Chop - which do you prefer

I am trying to decide where to eat? In your opinion, which has the better food/experience? We will have 2 children with us (8 and 6) that are very well behaved in restaurants ... we take them to eat at our country club once a month and they sit quietly and enjoy their food (of course, in the parks, they are not so reserved!).

I made ressies at both places. I looked at the menus and they both look good. I have read a lot of great reviews of the Tchoup Chop here, but I haven't heard too much on Emerils.

We ate at Tchop chop last October. The food and service was excellent. My son, 10, enjoyed the meal. It was a large bill for the 3 of us, but a great meal and experience. It was a great way to start our vacation.

I can't really answer since we have only been to Tchoup Chop. Our first visit was superb - excellent food and service. Our second was a complete let-down. The service was terrible and the food definitely sub-par compared to our first visit. We were very disappointed.

That being said - we are trying Emeril's in October.

My family of 4 loves both, but Tchoup Chop has the edge and the ambiance over Emeril's. My boys ages 8 and 12 just love Tchoup Chop and the kids menu is excellent. I vote Tchoup Chop! We have had over 5 meals at Tchoup Chop and 2 at Emerils at CityWalk. We are headed back in May and the first reservation I made was for Tchoup Chop! Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Definately Tchoup Chop for us. We ate at Emerils and the atmosphere was very blah to us, and we didn't care much for the menu. We love the atmosphere at the T.C. and love the food.

DW and I have eaten at both, the last time being this past October at Tchoup Chop. DW prefers Tchoup Chop but I have no preference.
