Now that they've made all these changes to their site, I can't find the web certificates that used to be available for point redemption... anyone know anything about this?? I was planning on paying for part of our hotel bill this way (we did this last year)!!! :confused:

No - but I redeemed points for a webcertificate before they changed their site and haven't gotten it yet. And their point calculation breakdown doesn't make sense to me yet. Surely they didn't do away with webcertificates - PLEASE. I have almost $100 towards our next trip with those. Good Luck finding them - if I do I'll let you know!!

I don't think webcerts are on MyPoints anymore. I believe there is a thread on the RP board regarding this and RainForest Cafe certs.

Same here~will likely have close to $200 by our trip in February. I've emailed them about it, but at the moment I am pretty upset!! I'll let you know when I hear from them.

I can't find them either. I redeemed my points recently after reading on another thread something about them changing because of their relationship with United Airlines. Someone suggested people should redeem points just in case.

I got a RFC gift card and OliveGardens. Olive Gardens is still there with Red Lobster but RFC is gone. I noticed other catagories were much sparser also.

Good luck.

Tell me it's not so!! I've been saving them just for my Webcerts....grrrrr.

Yup it's true no more Webcertificates;
no more prepaid gas cards;
no more Raintree Forest Cafe;
points for shopping at Office Depot have changed, you use to get 5,000 points for an order over $400.00, now it's 3 points per dollar you spend which is so much lower - $400.00 x3 points per dollar = 1,200 points vs. 5,000

Think I'm going to buy online using Creations Rewards now and let the mypoints one go bye, bye.

I am glad I did my redemptions before the new changes. They have reduced their options by quite a bit. I am still glad they have Bahama Breeze and Marriott.

I just cashed in last week for 2 RFC cards. I hope all goes well and I get them.

agreed. I just want to cash in the points i have (only 1,200 right now after cashing in at another time not too long ago) but i still need to get a few hundred more to get anything worth while. and then im doing my shopping through creation rewards as well. Boo on mypoints!

I haven't been able to see what amount of points it takes to redeem for what. The merchants are listed, but nothing is listed under that. I also am extremely disappointed in losing the webbies when I was only 500 points away from getting them. Oh well.

Guys--I don't think the new site is fully operational yet. There's too many 'glitchy' things happening right now.

I say give it a few more days, save ALL emails in the meantime, and see what happens.

I think they're making changes to the site on the fly as we speak (type)

I'm bummed about the webcertificates missing, but hopeful they'll reappear.

I hope that isn't so.
I used most of my points last month for web cert. that I used to pay down our trip.
Has anyone received any My Points emails lately? I haven't.

I've been thinking about asking this too. I haven't gotten an email from my points in over a week now. I'm hoping it's just because of the changes to the site and once it's up and glitches are fixed the emails will start coming again :confused3

I was so excited to reach the 7000 level since that meant I could get $50 in webcert. (I use these for Disney Dollars), then went yesterday to cash in and I was like..... :confused: then... :eek: and then... :crazy2:

They even have a section for prepaid gas cards, but there are no options there. I guess I'll just get a $50 Home Depot card.

Wow, I am so glad that I changed out our points for the 2 gas cards and the RFC card when I saw that other thread. I guess that I can tell MyPoints to unsubscribe me, if they are doing away with the two things that I love most about them. Maggie

Boy I'm glad that I cashed in my points a month ago got a 50.00 g.c. for rainforest.

I did send an email to Mypoints letting them know I'm dissappointed with the new program. I have been a member since '98 and now Im about to cancel and go to another reward company. Im just waiting for a reply before I actually cancel.

I just checked and it does have prepaid fuel cards listed (still 1400 points for a $10 gift card). Phew! We drive down so I always get gas cards to help offset that expense.

For those who can't get the web certs, the prepaid gas cards might be a decent solution to using your points even if you fly to Disney, since we all have to buy gas anyway. Just use them at home and put the money aside that you would have spent on gas.

I'm deeply disappointed that the Office Depot offer has changed, though. I'm responsible for ordering the office supplies for my office, and that was an easy 1,000 points (minimum) a month. Nothing with rewards programs ever gets better, does it?

I have about 28,000 points and was waiting til January til I cash in as I will have lots more by then ( I also do office depot purchasing for office). I had it all figured out that I would have $250-$300 in web certificates. I am bummed now. And Target is listed but does not show anything available. I hope they add more.
