Emerald Isle

Hi,
I have my first reservation through National for EI next week and I was wondering what kind of cars have been on the Isle lately? I know that we are only guaranteed an intermediate. Has anyone gotten an upgraded car lately??

Try to stay away from the Classics. I rented one from Avis this week on business, it's a crappy little car. Had to slam the back door to close it. The ironic part is a coworker rented the exact same one (even same color) and it had the same problem! For my vacation tomorrow ( ), I booked emerald reserve full size, it was about $8 more ($100 vs $92).

We saw a lot of Impalas, which is a full size, on the Aisle. We too, went ahead w/ a full size, since we were not sur what to expect, but could have gotten the same car. Only about $6-7 difference to not have to worry about where to put luggage.
