Emerald Isle reservations, something to think about

I just checked the National/Emerald reservations at Sanford/Orlando for a mid-size car during the week of April 17, 12 noon thru the 24th, 12 noon.
I got a weekly rate of $347.89 + taxes, fees = $394.12 Total.

I modified the reservation to return the car a half hour later on the 24th to 12:30pm.
I got a new weekly rate of $194 + an extra hour, taxes, fees = $251.30 total.

I tried the samething at MCO, TPA and Ft Myers. There were small changes but nothing that ridiculous.

Check your Emerald Isle reservations.

You hit a different rate booking, just make sure you meet the new rate requirements; just don't try to return it too early as they can re-rate your reservation at time of return (yes they can and do do this).
