Emerald Island to Disney via Sherberth?

What is the best way to get to Disney World from Emerald Island?

I have read about a shortcut via Sherberth Road, but I don't have a good
map that shows Sherberth so I can't figure out how to use it.

Also, anyone know where I could download a detailed map?

You can download maps and directions from mapquest.com.

From Emerald Island you turn right on to Funie Steed, left on to Formosa Boulevard, right onto the 192, the next set of lights is Sherberth Road, take a left. Very easy and very quick!!

On the return trip make sure you stay towards AKL or you will have to turn around in AK parking lot. Rest assured some one will do it. Every time we have been down one of our frineds or family has messed up. LOL

They have a turn around for the road so it must happen countless times.

Here's a link to a thread to get to WDW from Windsor Hills using Sherberth, almost the same directions. I made a little graphical map in the thread you can print out and bring with you, it's very helpful, enjoy!!

this map is not correct - anyway where it has Black Lake - where the green 5 is located - on the right side of the 5 is where Sherberth road is - it joins up with Osceola Pkwy - but Disney is trying to hide this road. It doesn't show up in a lot of maps. and some maps are just wrong (like this one)

This is the map I was referring to I made to get there using Sherberth from Windsor Hills Resort, EI is just one light further down 192.
