Emerald Club question...

We just joined the Emerald Club and I was able to make a reservation for the Emerald Aisle. As you can see, we are leaving in 12 days (Yipee!!! ) and I only have the print out National first gives you of the card. Do I need the actual card? Also, anyone know how long does it take for National to send the card?

The print out should work fine. I think it took about 2 -3 weeks
to get my card last year. We love this feature, no lines, it works great!

I signed up for that and got my card in 2 weeks. All you need is the number on it. They can verify your information matches what is in their system by just that.

Look into Budget if you haven't, I found a better deal using the Entertainment Card coupon for 20% off. Saved $100 over the member rate at National for a 8 day rental in November.

But I do admit, being able to pick your car out sounded very fun. But I don't think this is available at MCO from what I read of the fine print.

Yes, its avaliable at MCO, on Spring Break we got a little SUV
and last Christmas we got a PT cruiser. It's fun seeing what they
have and picking one.! I used codes on Mousesavers and the entertainment coupon and got a good deal for this New Years.

Hi... My back up reservation is with Budget, but, I love National and have used them for the past 3 trips. I looove been able to pick my own car. Looks like we are all set!!

Our last trip (our first usuing EA) we were not asked for the card. We had to show the CC we reserved with and drivers license. We also had to gove the Entertainment coupon we used.

I would bring the print out with, just in case.... HAVE FUN!

I am sure you don't need the actual card, just the number. Since this number is usually printed on your reservation confirmation, they can just get it from that and verify you are in the system.
