Emerald Club Question

If I join the Emerald Club free through the Turner Travel link...am I locked into special Emerald Club (possibly higher) rates than I can get through the normal web ressies?...or can I use any combination of codes and coupons with an Emerald club membership?...can I add a Emerald CLub number to an existing reservation? The only reason I could see joining E.C. is to get the wife as a free second driver. Does National charge a fee for additional drivers in Orlando?

You can use any contract # and cupon you like.

No, national does not charge for additional driver.

You can add EC to an existing reservation, however, you will have to go to the counter at Orlando. You will get your free driver but lose the convenience.

Suggest making another ressie using EC and whatever codes you used on the existing reservation. If the price is still the same or cheaper, book it, and cancel the original.

Not all additional drivers are free with EC, but, your spouse is. They define it on the National website.
As stated before you can use any combination of coupons, codes and contract numbers. EC contract number often has some nice rates. 5007125 is the contract code.

I got EC after I made my reserv. I emailed them and asked them to add my EC - they cancelled the old reserv and did a new one with EC-it changed slightly due to the surcharge for FF miles.

You don't have to, the spouse is automatically covered. No paper work, it so nice to have something that is so easy.
