Emerald Aisle Questions

I have ressie for our arrival at 11:30 pm through National Emerald Aisle. The flight has changed somewhat and we probably won't be able to get to EA before 12:00 pm. We've got a good rate and I'm afraid to go in and try and change the pick up time. My question is, "Will it make a difference?" How long is that time period good for? Also, what am I likely to find on the aisle at that hour, if anything? I'm worried about them not having any cars. Thanks.

I had emailed them that same question a few months back. They had told me that the 1/2 hour difference would not matter. They cannot hold it against you if your flight is delayed. I forgot exactly how many hours they give you and my email response is now upstairs with all my trip info to get packed.
If you would rather be safe that sorry, just email them and print a copy for your records. That way your response will be in black and white!

You should have no problem. We were delayed last July almost 6 hours and our reservation was still on the books. I believe they account for airline delays.

We had a similar situation at EA in Tampa. I called National and had them
look up my res and I gave them a new time for our arrival and they
noted it in their computer and verified that it didn't change our rate at all.
I wouldn't try to change it online. Their website seems to be very unstable
at times....

it will be the luck of the draw......and they do not re stock ...at those hours....

we know since last time we went, we got in around midnight but did not take the car until 3 am or so since we had and early flight out the next week (6 am or so)...and we did not want to pay for an extra day ......

they were a lot of le sabres one truck and a couple of midsizes ( this was in late august)....and a lot of people who had booked compact but somehow convinced the booth to let them take mid sizes (not from the aisle)....it was interesting to watch the "flow" of traffic in the "lots"....

we did check out both sides A and B just to compare what was being offered....it seemed to be similar on both sides....

We got in after midnight this past August. Lots of midsize cars, and we got the last LaSabre. Other than that one, I don't think there were any upgrade cars on the EA.

We booked a fullsize through EA-what happens if they don't have a fullsize? The comments here make it sound like there were mostly midsize. Thanks!

If you book full size with EA, if there are none on the EA you can also look over on the regular full size aisle. If there are none there, then you would have to see an attendant for help. When people say "midsize" I'm not sure if they mean intermediate, a full size would be a Camry, Lumina, Malibu, Regal, etc - alot of people would call them midsize but National calls them full size. I think a LeSabre is actually a premium level car.
