Emd of the 6 week challenge how did you do?

So we didnt check in everyday as we thought we would thats ok! :)


How did you do?


Im healthier my Cholesterol went from 257 to 174!
My tryclicerides are way down
and I lost 6 pounds!!!!

Most importantly though is the way I feel about myself. I have made so many positive changes in my life in the last 6 weeks including, my appointment to get my braces on in 2 weeks! :eek:

So how did everyone do?
 
The 6 week challenge was wonderful for me! No, I didn't lose any pounds, but I can tell I'm firming up in areas and developing some great muscle tone. Most importantly, I'm in the habit of exercising AT LEAST 4 days/week, usually more, and have encouraged others to start as well. Two of my co-workers and I are starting our own challenge today to walk on the treadmills at the Student Rec Center for 30 minutes of our lunch hour. DH started walking/running with me a couple of weeks ago, too, and is doing great on his exercise program. So, the effects of the 6-week challenge on myself and others was terrific! Thanks for the support and encouragment that everyone on the thread gave!
 
Binny - I'm sorry I couldn't check in more frequently but I know this challenge helped me reach my goals!

I wanted to reach my second 10% weight loss goal. I had 7.5 pounds to lose. Not only did I reach that 10% goal but I surpassed it by another 7 pounds and have a beautiful 60 pound clippie to show for it!

I wasn't as successful in keeping away from the sugar free ice cream but I have given up the Pierre's chocolate with the sugar free peanut butter cups.

My third goal was to be more okay (mentally/emotionally) with my weight loss and I have to say that I am definitely working on being successful at this and learning to accept compliments without making an excuse or saying something negative behind it.

I think I did pretty well. I wanted to do better getting all my water in each day. I have gotten much better at that. I wanted to increase my exercise to four times a week and I'm doing well with that. I decided to change my eating plan a bit and have been trying to work the kinks out of it, but I think I have got it figured out now. I wanted to lose 5 pounds, but I only lost 1.5. But I think that's because I had to get my plan straightened out. Overall I am very happy with myself!
