Embroidery on items purchased from shoop parks App

If I purchase an item on the shop parks app can I get it embroirdered when purchasing? I don't see an option for this? If no, can I bring it into the park & have it embroirdered? At DL you have to show a receipt of purchase from the park to get it embroirdered so, this is a concern of mine if I purchase a graduation Mickey ear hat in advance. I am a DL Veteran and this will be my 22nd trip to WDW.

I have tried to have things embroidered at the parks that were purchased through Disney store.com and they wouldn't do it. I know you're asking about the Disney parks app, but since they have a lot of similar items, it might be the same rule.

Bummer. It was my plan to purchase the ears ahead of time and get them embroidered there. There are some private online Disney stores that will embroider them, but they have a big mark up.

I am going to watch the Disneystore.com to see if they come available there if so, they do embroidered there as I know they do it on clothes etc. Not sure about hats but it's worth a try to see if they can do it.

If they can't do it, Adrian and Edith's Head to Toe in DHS can embroider your hats. You can select from a variety of fonts and the fee they charge is minimal. They'll embroider a variety of items. My CM friend took in an event cast jacket and had her name and the date added on.

I brought a hat with me to DL during the 60th anniversary. They had been running out of some merchandise so I wanted to be sure we got them (I bought it on Ebay). I had no problem getting it embroidered in the park. It's definitely worth asking.

Maybe buy it ahead of time, then buy another in the park if they still have them, then return the unused one?

I agree with you that there are those one off situations where a CM will accommodate you. I also know a CM who works at DL & she said she could have the name embroidered for me & ship it to me. I'm just not sure if the ones from DL & WDW are different or not. She said when she sees them in the park she said she would take a picture & send it to me. Hopefully they are the same & don't say DL on them as we would want it to say WDW as that's the park we will be visiting during her grad time this time around.

Wait - really?

My niece lives in the UK and this past Christmas I ordered a personalized stuffed Mickey for her from the Disney Store and she adores it! (considering she was scared of Mickey before...this is a huge win!) I was very disappointed when my brother recently mentioned that her name (on the foot) was screen-printed on, not embroidered as I had thought from studying the image and descriptions. My brother said he thought it was embroidered for some time too - until he recently took a closer look. So not happy about that!

Anyway, I was hoping to get it embroidered for her but will only get to see her when we go to Disney together in August. Hopefully now we can take the Mickey to DHS and get it embroidered (for a reasonable price) at this store! Considering how much she loves this Mickey now, I sure don't want her name peeling off it.

Also, if you are told no, try back another time with another CM. You never know.
