Embellishment swap?

Hi all. I posted this on the swap calendar thread but wasn't sure it was the right place. Told MazdaUK I was sorry I couldn't get in the flower swap and she said there's usually an embellishment swap held. Does anyone know if there's going to be one? I would love to expand my collection of scrapping stuff with a swap like this. Truthfully, we don't have many scrapping stores here and if AC Moore doesn't carry it I have to get it off the internet, which is very expensive. Since I'm so new to all of this I'm not comfortable with hostessing a swap yet. Anyone else interested in having and/or hostessing a swap like this?

I would participate but I am getting ready to hostess 2 swaps that start next month and 1 more in June- I think that will be all I can handle.

This is what we have done in the past- what do you like, what needs to be changed?

Requirements:
1. Buy and Bag your items for members of your group.
2. Mail your items to me.
3. Send return postage for your package.
4. Have fun!

If we have a flaker in this swap I will do a blind swap of extra items.

Could we have smallish groups please? In the past I think we have had groups of 10 and so either you have to buy several packs of something or (for example with primas) the pack gets spread a bit thin, or ribbon comes in 3 yard packs.... I think max 6 to a group would be good.

six sounds great....then I can join a whole bunch of groups! Question about groups. Say there are two flower groups, can i join both or is that a no-no?

I really liked this one. I haven't used all my stuff, but I do like to pull it out and oohh and aaahh over them.

I like the bling idea. Can this also include those really cool glitter flowers that you have glue dot on?

Its up to the hostess, but I'd say join one of each tostart with, then go back and fill in the gaps (unless there are two different groups - like printed or plain ribbon, primas or other flowers for example)

I've used loads of my stuff but a little is still hoarded
