Embassy Suites MCO

I booked 1 night there before our cruise. We fly into MCO around 4pm, thought the free shuttle, free breakfast, etc, would make for an easy night. We also love how there is separate living room area (for our daughter). Wondering who has stayed there? Did you like it? I booked it, and then went on Yelp ... LOL ... everybody over there is so hard to please! haha

I would love to just do the Hyatt MCO, but prices are still a little too high to justify that one. I'll keep watching!

We've stayed there precruise and really enjoyed it. It's been a few years though. I remember how great the staff was and hope that hasn't changed.

We have stayed here many times before cruises and before checking into our DVC at WDW. It is super easy to call for the shuttle to pickup from MCO, they were prompt it is less than five minute ride from the airport. They have happy hour with complimentary alcohol from certain times and their restaurant is actually pretty good if you need to get dinner before going to bed. The sofa pull out is not comfortable but it is OK for one night. It has always been clean. The included breakfast is good too, they have the usual offerings plus made to order omelets. I think it is a good value and I would stay there again. We have shuttled back to MCO to pick up a rental and we have hired a car service to get to port. Either way is pretty easy.

Thanks for your replies! We are pretty easy travelers, so I don't need much. Sometimes I freak myself out when reading reviews. I feel like most people just like to complain for the sake of complaining.

I'm also looking at places with suites near MCO the night before the cruise. Can I ask where else you considered and what the rate is for Embassy Suites?
