Embassy Suites locations in Orlando area

We are staying a few nights at the Hilton Grand Vacations Sea World location, but I have one more hotel night I need to book. I love Embassy Suites locations for their kid friendliness (and good free breakfast).

For those of you who've been, which location in the Orlando area have you liked the best?

And if not those, is the Waldorf Astoria worth the splurge? I saw their rates aren't horrible.

I guess part depends on where you want to be located at that time. We have stayed at all the ES except for Jamaican Court and Airport. That includes Downtown Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, International Drive and Lake Buena Vista South.

Our favorite is Lake Buena Vista SOUTH and it is also the newest. Great service top to bottom, one of the best breakfasts and Manager's receptions. Have stayed here many times as it is literally 10 minutes door to door to the parks.

Lake Buena Vista just went through a (needed) renovation which included an expanded outdoor amenity. They also added a $20 per day resort fee and $12 per day parking fee. We won't be going back since we don't care about the pool play areas and the location does not warrant a parking fee. But if you plan to use all those amenities perhaps you will get value.

International Drive is a great location, walking distance to lots of eats, small attractions and more. We stayed here a week one winter because they have an indoor pool which is not common in Florida.

Stayed at Downtown location for a Bowl game aka logistics. Nice hotel but unless you plan to be hanging out downtown, would not be a choice.
