Hi

Has anyone stayed here before? already we are thinking about next year and my auntie and uncle stayed at the oneo n i-drive and with the free drinks between 5-7pm and full coocked breakfast, it's great value for money but as we like lbv so much we were thinking of trying this one.

I've checked trip advisor which has some positive reviews but would appreciate your views ? thanks !

We stayed here twice for quick 1 or 2 night stays before checking into our Disney DVC. Have not stayed in the one on I-Drive so I can't compare. It is very similar to other ES we have stayed with the wide open lush lobby and complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. There are two sets of rooms - ones inside the main lobby and the ones outside with view of the pool. They have dive in movies by the pool and people seem to be having fun.

The room we have inside the main lobby was renovated with plasma TV and new countertops. When we walked around the pool area rooms, we noticed many of the rooms still had the old clunky TVs. So I would ask for a renovated room if you decide to go.

As for location, it's very quiet, near other hotels and timeshare condos. However it is very convenient. Less than 1 mile to the Winn-Dixie supermarket and within 2 miles of many popular restaurants.

If you are going off-season, you may consider looking at priceline recent winnings reported in biddingfortravel or betterbidding websites. We got the ES -LBV twice on Priceline one time for $45 and another time for $52.

We have stayed at this one for 7 nights, we loved it. We are planning to stay again early this next year. It was very clean, had a cook to order bkfst for free, free happy hour, and a nice pool. It is close to a grocery store and Downtown Disney. We like to have a car, so I do not know about their shuttle. You can't beat the price for a two room suite!

I am thinking about staying here for 2 days before our ASSport stay. I do not want to rent a care or spend a fortune on transportation. Any "hot" tips for getting to the Embassy LBV from the airport & then to the ASSports?

Hello,
Two adults stayed ES Lake Buena Vista Sept 26-30, 2010. Paid $52/ via Priceline bid specific to "Lake Buena Vista Area". Very good deal as lowest online price was $96.

Classic ES, beautiful Atrium, free breakfast is excellent, free drinks in the evening just as advertised. Nice location at far NE corner of huge LBV area of 535. Easy access in and out by going past Palm Parkway on 535 north two blocks to Lake Street and turning right. Takes you right into ES without going by all the businesses on Palm Parkway.
Room was very nice. Furniture a touch worn but not big problem. Thanks to previous poster we asked for and got Atrium Suites. Would not recommend Lanai Suites as they are ground level by the pool and loud with lots of smokers.

Room was large, two room, two TV. Beds were comfortable.
Staff were great.
Two sinks, one in and one outside the bathroom which was great as bath is very small.

Minor negatives:
large door to bath opened "in" which almost filled the whole bath when opened.
small frig was fine for the two of us.
limited cable TV...I am spoiled by Directv
In room Internet was $10. Choose not to do it, but there are 7 free stations in the lobby that worked fine for email and internet.
Otherwise great stay for a great price via Priceline.
