Embassy suites Anaheim south

Hi,
I was just wondering I'd anyone has stayed at the embassy suites Anaheim south before. If so did you like it? Is it real far from Disneyland? Did you use the shuttle? And shuttle experience?
We are going to Disneyland December 22- December 28 and feel that this hotel will fit our needs. I just have not seen it mentioned on these boards very much. So if you have everied stayed here please let me know of your experience.

I've used the shuttle (it's about a mile from the park) and they pick up in front of the lobby.

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites several times. As the other poster mentioned, the shuttle is right out front. You should be sure to purchase your pass from the front desk. You can purchase a multi-day pass, which is cheaper. I think they show up about every 10 to 20 minutes. I'm sure there's a schedule on-line somewhere. I walked from the hotel to the parks once. Don't do that. The blocks are VERY long.

The hotel itself is very nice. What I like best about the Embassy Suites is that they have a real breakfast in the mornings so that you don't have to go looking for breakfast, or settle for a cold sweet roll and a class of orange juice. The rooms have a small kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. That's always nice for keeping a few things to snack on, or even a dinner.

We stayed there in 2009, I think it was. You can see pics in my review in the link in my sig. We stayed about a week and drove to the parks everyday. On our block out day we even walked to DTD, but it was far enough away that we didn't want to do that on a day we would be walking around DLR all day. Anyway, we loved it there but I wish I could pick it up and move it closer to the parks.
