The more I read about getting to the ship early, the more nervous I get. My flight gets to MCO at 10:30. Has anyone gotten to Orlando at this time? When did you get to the ship? When did you get on board? Were you able to get Palo or cabana massage ressies?:(

If everything goes smoothly, you should be ok...

How are you getting to the ship from the airport ??

If you have a towncar or limo waiting, and your plane is ontime, you should be to the port by noon. Get in line, check in, and boarding should start between 12:30 and 1:00.

After you board, you are ushered into the "Welcome Aboard buffet". I usually get my family seated, get a bite to eat, then rush off to make all the ressies. I have never had any trouble getting the days/times I wanted for Palo, or for the spa.

What time do they start taking reservations for those things - spa, Palo, Flounder's Reef?

Thanks for the info. I'll be taking Disney's shuttle bus. A friend who just did the May 11th cruise and got to MCO at the same time, said she got to the ship around noon. (She didn't try to get ressies for anything, so I was just wondering if that time was still too late.)

I just sailed on the Wonder on 5/18. Our flight arrived from NY at 9:45 and we used Happy Limo and were at port by 11:00. When we arrived people just began a line to board. We were about the 10th family on line. Similar to Beano, I was able to situate my family and eat a little at Beach Blanket Buffett. At about 1:00 (the Navigator's said 1:30) I went to Wavebands and got the Palo ressies I wanted. I then went straight to the spa and waited in line by the door for ten minutes before they began taking reservations. (Note - they'll offer a tour of the spa - skip it and go directly to make your reservations). I was surprised by how much was already taken for concierge level guests. However I was able to get exactly what I wanted.

Don't freak out about it. I think these Boards have a way of making you nervous that you'll be sprinting around the ship. I don't think most of the passengers are aware of the need to book reservations so soon after boarding so you should be fine.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much . That makes me feel better. I did imagine a mad sprint once I got on board.
