We got our cruise documents yesterday which made me think of a couple more questions.

This is our first cruise and we want to soak up every minute- we plan on getting to the terminal when it first opens. Since I don't think the shuttle from our hotel gets there that early, DH was going to drop off me, the kids and the luggage then go back to the hotel, use their free parking and take the shuttle back. My understanding was that I could check us all in if I have his passport and he could get in the terminal with his driver's license- right? But will this work if we are in separate rooms? We have 2 rooms- each with 1 adults and 2 kids. Do we need to have an adult from each room for checking into the terminal?

Also, on the checklist in our cruise documents, it says " If you didn't check in online, fill out all the travel forms." Does this mean if we did online check in, I don't need to fill out the forms in the cruise documents?

One more question, just to make sure, the things I HAVE to have in hand when we get to the terminal- passports, DL for me and DH, cruise documents and the page of the cruise contract online that has our signatures. Is that everything I need to have?

You should have no problems checking in w/o husband. He *may* have to go back to the CM who checked you in to get his KTTW card, once I did - other time the CM gave my wife my KTTW card.

He will need a photo-id to get back into the terminal area.

You will need to have the Bahama's immigration form filled out as well, should be in your doc package.

My understanding is that if you fill out the forms online, you only have to have the authorization for the KTTW card at the terminal. That one is a financial agreement so it needs to be a hard copy, from what I have heard. It talks about that on the DCL website.

I was instructed to go check in while my husband parked the car on our first cruise. He did join us before we were finished...barely...and they were giving me his card. He literally walked up and said Hi-bye. But that was pre 911. Things may have changed.

Have a great cruise! You are going to love it!

I know that you must fill out the Bahamas immigration form and turn that in at the terminal. It can't be filled out on-line. It came with our documents which just arrived Monday. The other pieces of paper that I am told we should bring to the terminal are the payment authorization and the signature sheet acknowledging and agreeing to the cruise contract.

My "important documents for port" checklist is:
passports (x3)
drivers licenses (x3)
cruise contract w/3 signatures
payment authorization (one signature)
[confirmation of stateroom gifts ordered]
[TA email confirming amounts of onboard credits]

Can anyone think of anything I've forgotten?

You can fill the froms on line but don't fprget to print them in case they need a hard copy. I know they want a hard copy of the payment form with a signature. Enjoy. Should be getting my cruise documents for 9/8 in the next couple of months.
