Embarkation day booking?

Does anyone know if Disney does bookings on embarkation day? If so, do you call, go online, or have to just show up at the port?

I feel like they used to but not sure if Covid changed that.

If you want to book within 3 days of a cruise, I believe you must do it by phone. I've never heard of them doing walk-up bookings.

I think it’s been a lot longer than since COVID that this couldn’t be done, it’s security.

Last I knew, the latest one could book was the day prior to embarkation. And it had to be by phone. (Cruises are pulled offline 3 days prior to embarkation anyway.)
