Has anyone ever been able to book a reservation online via the member site?
I tried the other night and just got a blank white screen after I pressed the Confirm/Send button for my reservation. I didn't think that went through so I tried again tonite and got the same thing.
Me being the noob that I am just tried to call in my reservation and was 1/2 hour late. Didn't know they closed so early.

How long does it take to hear back about an emailed reservation? I'm hoping I didn't send it twice and have 2 in the system.

I have not had any direct experience with your particular situation, but I have noticed that other things on Disney site, such as buying tickets does not work unless you have your "cookies" enabled for Disney's websites. Their site doesn't work well if they are declined.

E tried email once, about 2 years ago, and never got a confirm after 2 days...

So I called and made reservations. THen, I asked what happened to my email request.

Oh, someone else does those..... and it usually takes a few days.

Well, if you're calling day-by-day, I think even calling late afternoon is better than emailing.

I emailed my reservation in February for a reservation in March. They replied the next day with 2 options and I emailed back. It worked for me! It was very convenient as it is hard for me to get to a phone during business hours.

We have used the email before for reservations, but it's been awhile. I believe we received an email back that was a standard reply verifying they had received our email and a vacation specialist would be back with us in two - three business days and then we always heard back with a confirmation within a few days. I liked this procedure for reservations as I would always confirm the number of points we had left and if any were being banked etc.... Then I had an email confirmation of this to print out and save.

Grace is right that you should get a "form" reply stating that they've received your e-mail and will be responding. I think it's a 24-hour turnaround but sometimes they respond faster than that. It's not a true "on-line" system. You are just sending an e-mail that will be manually processed -- like the phone calls.

I did once a couple of years ago. But then I had to call and change the dates after flight booking problems.

We have used this booking method on two occassions - in both cases, the turnaround was next business day

The one thing we noticed is that you have to make an alternate selection when you request this way so if you have only one choice in mind, this method does not work

thanks

We've used this online booking the last 4 or 5 reservations, worked very well, wouldn't do it anyother way unless I had to know about availability right then. The alternate choices can be the same as your first choice/entry, there just need to be something in those fields. Same goes for the question regarding primary contract.

I had this same problem over a week ago, so I emailed MS directly and told them it was not working and sent a copy of my request. I received the email saying they received my email, but never heard anything else. I should have called, but I can never seem to have both of my children quiet at the same time. My advice is give them a call, make your ressie and let them know that it is not working:(
