Emailing pictures

I have a folder of pics taken on my digital camera that I want to email to someone. I know how to email the folder but what I would like is to put captions under each photo and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do that.

Can anyone help me?

I share pictures using Photobucket or Shutterfly or something like that. It is soooo much easier!
