Email to Special Diets

I sent an email to Special Diets with a specific question regarding my dietary requirements for our next visit. What I got in response was a generic letter that did not answer my question but just gave me info that I already knew. Would I have a better chance of getting my question answered if I called? TIA

In my experience, they almost always send the standard response first. If you reply and let them know you didn't get an appropriate answer, then you will usually get the correct response. I have never had to call before as they usually answer my question on the second email. If you don't mind calling though, that might be easier.

Last time I had specific questions I got a standard email in response. I wrote another email asking that they at least let me know somebody is reading it because they didn't address my question and got back the exact same template email again.
I then called and got some information, but actually got more useful information here anyways.

Is it something somebody on the boards might know?
